Promises from the Gospels

In the New Testament there are five basic divisions: the Gospels, the Acts, the Pauline Epistles, the General Epistles and the Book of Revelation. The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John give us the historical account of the life and teachings of Jesus.
Matthew
The Beatitudes (from the Sermon on the Mount)
Mt 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Mt 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Mt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Mt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Mt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.
Mt 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mt 5:11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

Mt 5:41 If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.
Mt 5:45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

The Lord's Prayer
Mt 6:9 (NKJ) In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Mt 6:10 (NKJ) Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Mt 6:11 (NKJ) Give us this day our daily bread.
Mt 6:12 (NKJ) And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
Mt 6:13 (NKJ) And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Mt 6:16 "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.
Mt 6:31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
Mt 6:32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
Mt 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Mt 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Mt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Mt 11:30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Mt 15:9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'"
Mt 24:13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Mt 24:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mt 24:37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
Mt 24:42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Mt 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
Mt 25:40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Mk 2:28 So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath."
Mk 9:23 "'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."
